Wild Grasses - Sterling Silver and Enamel Necklet

This Wild Grasses necklace features two overlapping sterling silver strands, one hand-enamelled, the other in polished silver. The design is enhanced with a 3mm cubic zirconia set by hand in our workshop in Orkney, and hangs elegantly from a sterling silver neckwire. This design is enamelled in 'Meadow' enamel.

The wild and windswept coastlines of Orkney and Caithness, in the north of Scotland, are covered with marram grass that sweeps from side to side in the sea breeze. This hardy grass inspired Sheila to create her 'Wild Grasses' collection. Delicate free-flowing designs, layered with silver or gold, enamel and gemstones.
